Browder, Co-Founder, serves as an executive consultant for the Ohio Federation for Health Equity and Social Justice, the Dba name of the Health Disparities Collaborative of Ohio Inc, a 501c (3) statewide nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Ohio and is principally made up of agencies, organizations and individuals concerned about minority and multicultural health, health equity, social justice and the elimination of health disparities for racial/ethnic populations.

Policy Fellow
Olivia Neff is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Purdue University whose research explores how workplace policies influence access to health and may help mitigate inequality. She is particularly interested in which workplace policies facilitate access to preventative care for those who need it most, with attention to disparities across race, gender, and income. Her dissertation examines variation in paid sick leave policy design and implementation across states and how these differences shape awareness and use of leave for health-related needs. Olivia’s broader work includes a variety of projects on family leave and sick leave, childhood adversity, diabetes, mental and physical health, and food insecurity. She has experience with survey design, in-depth interviews, grant writing, and data analysis. She also has professional experience at the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and currently serves as a research assistant at the Methodology Center at Purdue, where she helps coordinate NIH-funded training initiatives and interdisciplinary methods programming.

Adbeel Sutton (“AJ”) is a resident of Wisconsin, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University in 2021. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree through George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. Jessica is the Graduate Intern working with Dr. Mendoza on a Kinship study. She is currently studying at George Washington University in their Master’s in Public Health Program. She received her undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University where she also served as a Team Lead and School Liaison for their COVID-19 contact tracing program partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Currently she is working as a Patient Care Coordinator in Urologic Oncology where she works on getting everything set up for any surgery patient’s. In her free time she loves to read and try out new restaurants with her friends.
